We Built the Agency We Wanted to Hire
Radsmith Digital Media began in 2017 with a simple frustration: small and midsize businesses were being asked to navigate an increasingly complicated digital world with too little time, too little clarity, and far too little return.
Business owners were expected to master social platforms, search algorithms, websites, content, email, advertising, and analytics—while still running the business itself. Their alternatives were not much better. They could stitch together a collection of disconnected vendors, settle for generic marketing packages, or hire a large agency where the sales team made the promises and junior staff did the work.
We believed there was a better way.
Radsmith was built to give growing businesses direct access to experienced creative and strategic talent. No assembly line. No inflated layers of account management. No forcing every client through the same fashionable playbook. Just close collaboration, original thinking, disciplined execution, and marketing tied to a real business objective.
We did not want to build an agency that merely kept channels busy. We wanted to build one that made businesses more valuable.
From Social-First to Brand-Wide
Radsmith’s earliest work centered on social media, where founder GT Smith saw an unusually fast and affordable opportunity for smaller companies to earn attention, build relationships, and compete with much larger brands. The agency launched on a shoestring budget, with no large staff or outside machinery—only a handful of local clients, an uncompromising work ethic, and the conviction that an overlooked business could become impossible to ignore.
But clients rarely have isolated marketing problems. A social campaign cannot compensate for a weak website. Traffic has little value if the message does not convert. A sharp logo cannot rescue an unclear offer. Search visibility, content, email, video, photography, advertising, and brand identity work best when they reinforce one another.
So Radsmith evolved.
What began as a boutique social media operation became an integrated digital media and marketing agency. We expanded into brand development, website design and development, direct-response copy, content strategy, search marketing and SEO, email marketing, lead generation, video, photography, and conversion strategy. Our capabilities grew, but the original idea did not change: understand the business deeply, find what makes it matter, and build the right system around it.
Today, we help clients move from a collection of marketing activities to a coherent brand—one with a clear position, a recognizable voice, a stronger digital presence, and a practical path from attention to revenue.
Connecticut Roots.
Georgia Perspective.
Work Without Borders.
Radsmith operates from Sandy Hook, Connecticut, and Athens, Georgia, serving clients wherever strong partnership and ambitious work can meet.
Those two home bases have shaped us. We understand the trust, reputation, and relationships that drive local and regional businesses. We also know that a company’s market is no longer limited by geography. The same brand may need to win a neighborhood search, build authority across a region, and reach a highly specific audience nationwide.
That is why we combine a boutique agency’s personal attention with the reach and capabilities of a modern distributed team. We stay close to the client, close to the work, and close to the numbers—regardless of the distance between us.
The Clients We Want Beside Us
Radsmith is built for established small- and midsize businesses, founder-led companies, professional firms, and growth-minded organizations that have something worthwhile to offer—and know their marketing should do more for them.
Our best-fit clients are not necessarily the biggest. They are engaged, candid, responsive, and ready to make decisions. They care about the quality of the customer experience. They are willing to examine assumptions, sharpen their positioning, and invest in work that compounds over time. They want senior-level thinking without big-agency distance, and they value a partner who can challenge an idea as readily as execute one.
Some come to us with an underperforming website. Some have outgrown a pieced-together identity. Others have tried scattered tactics and need a strategy that finally connects the dots. What they share is an appetite for meaningful progress—not marketing theater.
We are probably not the right agency for a business shopping only for the lowest bid, instant guarantees, or a vendor who simply agrees with every request. We would rather have an honest conversation about what will work than sell a comfortable answer we do not believe.
Still Independent.
Still Restless.
Still Personal.
The tools have changed since 2017. Platforms have risen and faded. Algorithms have shifted. Audiences have become more selective, and artificial intelligence has accelerated the volume of content competing for their attention.
The fundamentals have not changed. People still respond to relevance, clarity, usefulness, personality, and trust. Businesses still grow when the right audience understands why they are different and knows what to do next.
That is the work Radsmith was created to do.
We attract attention with purpose. We engage people like people. We convert interest into measurable opportunity. And we help good businesses become memorable brands.
You have a business. You want a brand. Let’s build what comes next.
